As my company is just beginning to enter the medical devices market, an important work stream is building relationships with start-ups where we can either provide a component, invest, or acquire new technology.

Leading a project of any sort, especially one including individuals across different teams and organizations requires strong communication. This is important to coordinate groups while also ensuring there is clear understanding.
One of the greatest challenges I have witnessed while working in large corporations is the lack of accountability which arises when multiple teams are involved in a project. By leading this project I will have to be willing to put my hand up as the owner of itβs successes and failures.
